Changing Identity.
Time to start reducing my presence on the web as Pzychotropic and using my proper name of Mac McIntyre. I'm gradually transforming, metamorphosing and flushing out the garbage that I've accumulated over the last couple of years.
Problem was that I didn't really know what I wanted out of this musical self promotion, so I've randomly thrown up a video here or recorded a few tracks there.
I'm still loathe to make a 'product' and 'promote' myself, but I still see a purpose in showing my enthusiasm for the guitar in whatever way I can. - ( playingwise that is, not teaching ).
The exploration continues!

RPM Challenge 09 Completed!
Well I finally managed to finish a project. It's not perfect, but I'm pleased with the result. If your a procrastinating musician type, it's a challenge worth taking up. Only the 28 days of February to compose, record, master and do the artwork for an album.

RPM Challenge 2009
I stumbled across the RPM Challenge last year, but had little time to prepare for, what was to prove... ermmmm, a challenge!
The idea is to produce a 10 tracks or 35 minutes of music (or any combination), during the tedious month of February. There is no competition, no winners, no losers, just the satisfaction that you have managed to become motivated enough to achieve the objective. Lets face it, musicians can be a lazy bunch.
I'm also going to try and keep a daily update going right here, with pics and video, showing the highs and lows of the recording/composing process.
Well here goes nothing!
